Some photos and short videos from my journey

It was calm and beautiful day, and I was standing in the middle of the river filming a music video with my beloved girls 👩‍👧 when we heard a wall of rain approaching us fast. Quickly grabbing all the gear that was still switched on and playing the music, I left the camera turned on, allowing it to record the scene... 🎥 One of my secret unreleased tracks “Rainforest” 🌿 matched the scene well, so I mixed it in later for this short video. The rain and the thunderstorm were fascinating. ⛈ #rainforest #adventure #north #europe #river #passion #inspiration #calling #filming #rain #thunderstorm #musicgear #wet #producer #lithuania #tinyhouse #justdoit #ambient #ambientmusic #lofi #ikaros #thankyou #bestregards

Thousands of living species in each square centimeter. This is reality, but also it’s a world hidden from the naked eye. There is almost an infinite world to see, know, and maybe even to understand. “But that is not what immediately arrests my attention. What arrests my attention is the fact that this space is inhabited.” – T.McKenna. “Inhabited Space” (2018) was created and performed with Electribe Sampler by @korgofficial using semi-generative music techniques and random modulation of filters, levels, and effects. This song will be finished and released this year together with other ideas filmed in nature this year. Thank you Iveta (@vidinisresursas) and Šarūnas (@miskouostas) for support, help, friendship, connection, and adventure. #ambientmusic #naturemusic #lofi #lofimusic #experimental #art #experimentalmusic #generativemusic #naturevideo #biology #ecosystem #river #friendship #metamorphosis #biodiversity #lithuania #ecology #adventure #explore #species #wonder #terencemckenna #getoutside #korg #electribe #synthlove #inspiration #green #path

Watching the small fish playing. Playing with my own mind by saying this. Watching a moving twig on the top right corner, which is actually an aquatic larvae of a caddisfly in her twig house. Nature is magical. In the background a few years old “Meditation” track from the “Awareness” album is playing, which is actually a recording from a live sleep meditation session that happened in Vilnius with a group of people laying down and having a deep journey into their subconscious. I miss these sleep music performances, and would be happy to bring them back this year. #ambientmusic #naturemusic #lofi #lofimusic #experimental #art #experimentalmusic #generativemusic #naturevideo #biology #ecosystem #river #caddisflies #aquatic #metamorphosis #biodiversity #lithuania #ecology #adventure #explore #species #wonder #getoutside #ableton #abletonlive #meditation #synthlove #inspiration #green #path

“Appreciation [noun] 1) recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something. 2) a full understanding of a situation.” A few weeks ago I was standing by the Sventoji river with my family, feeling fulfillment, magic, happiness, and love. Appreciating what is. Spontaneously captured scene of the flowing water inspired this short music video. “Appreciation” (2018) is my new unreleased piece of ambient music, created using Ableton Live this time. I would like to see it included into my upcoming album this summer. #ambientmusic #naturemusic #lofi #lofimusic #experimental #art #experimentalmusic #naturevideo #biology #ecosystem #forest #river #exposure #metamorphosis #biodiversity #lithuania #ecology #adventure #explore #species #wonder #getoutside #ableton #abletonlive #synthlove #inspiration #green #health #inspiration #path #ambientnotes

Life creates life. Ideas transform into new ideas. And species run a lot of experiments to find mutations that make them stronger, better, and more successful in their selected environment. The evolution of species is called a phylogenetic tree. Recorded in beautiful forests of Neries Regional Park, “Phylogenetic Tree” (2018) is performed with Electribe Sampler by @korgofficial, using semi-generative music techniques and random modulation of filters, sound levels, and effects. Human is not required for “Forest Ambience” music to play, and this is one of core ideas that inspire this project. #ambientmusic #naturemusic #lofi #lofimusic #experimental #art #experimentalmusic #generativemusic #naturevideo #biology #ecosystem #forest #biodiversity #phylogeny #lithuania #life #ecology #adventure #explore #species #wonder #getoutside #korg #electribe #synthlove #inspiration #green #health #inspiration #path #ambientnotes

I would not be able to tell what my lifelong quest is about even when asked. Sometimes it can be felt in the moments like this, when running water becomes time, when genetic geometry is representing itself as separate species, yet the process of life and death tells a story that nothing lasts. The Nature itself touches my body and soul then. And life continues. Recorded in green Lithuania by the Saide river, “Quest” (2018) is performed with Electribe Sampler by @korgofficial, using semi-generative music techniques and random/S&H modulations. #ambientmusic #naturemusic #experimentalmusic #generativemusic #naturevideo #biology #ecosystem #water #stream #river #biodiversity #spring #lithuania #life #mystery #ecology #adventure #explore #species #wonder #getoutside #korg #electribe #synthlove #inspiration #forest #health #inspiration #lofi #lofimusic

Symbiosis is a close and long-term biological relationship between two different biological organisms. It forms between various species of trees and fungi, plants and insects, humans and gut bacteria. This is a very deep and fascinating topic. Happy to share “Symbiosis” (2018) music video. 🎛🌲🍄🦉 This song continues my minimal lo-fi ambient music project. 🙏 Nature and art is the cure. Created and performed with Korg Electribe Sampler, recorded directly to Roland R-05 recorder. #ambientmusic #naturemusic #experimentalmusic #generativemusic #naturevideo #lofi #lofimusic #lofiart #biology #ecosystem #symbiosis #forest #biodiversity #spring #lithuania #explore #species #wonder #getoutside #korg #electribe #synthlove #inspiration #green #health #inspiration #art

Mycelium is the main part of a fungus, and now it is known that animals derived from them. Mycelium creates life where it was not possible before. It turns plain rock into soil, so plants can grow and animals can live on new land. More than 50% of all soil is made of living or dead mycelium. Mycelium cleans the environment from the toxic material and turns dead plants and animals into pure nutrients so that new life can thrive. The largest known living organism in the world is a 2200 years old mycelium the size of 9.7 km² in Oregon, USA. It’s possible that fungus is a life form with the best karma on Earth. Track “Mycelium” was created with Korg Electribe. No sound editing or extra effects, recorded directly to Roland R-05. In the background you can see the Alternate-leaved Golden Saxifrage (Chrysosplenium alternifolium) which starts to blossom in April and loves environments rich with nutrients, like mixed forests. #ambientmusic #naturemusic #experimentalmusic #naturevideo #botany #biology #plants #spring #lithuania #explore #species #wonder #getoutside #korg #electribe #livemusic #generativemusic #synthlove #lofi #lofimusic #inspiration #green #forest
